About us



Wega, a passion for coffee machines.

 

Wega was founded in 1985 with the objective of producing quality professional espresso coffee machines.  Our new, technological plant in Susegana (TV) covers a surface area of more than 20,000 square metres. As the largest individual espresso coffee machine factory in the world, this is our flagship establishment.  A leader in its sector, Wega is present in 130 countries worldwide, with headquarters in the USA (Greensboro) and offices in France.
The company is also represented throughout the world by importers, roasters and business reps that manage market placement, sales and maintenance for a wide range of espresso machines, grinders and Wega-correlated products. Wega’s core business consists of production and distribution of espresso coffee machines, grinders and accessories.
All the ranges of models are different according to their final use and forecast target markets. In addition, the fixtures, extras and optional components available for each model constitute an important factor of distinction in their respective market sectors.
 
Wega conforms to ISO 9001 norms and holds the relevant certification.  All our machines display the most important stamps of approval in the world and are officially recognized by the Italian espresso Institute (INEl). All Wega espresso machines belong to the “UL” category of safety standards and conform to  “ETL” norms for cleanliness prescribed by the “NSF-4” standards.
 
The company is also keen on the concept of energy savings, which translates into production processes that are fully optimized under every aspect according to the philosophy of “lean manufacturing”, which aims to minimize waste, and a cutting-edge research and development sector which is the brainchild to the Wega way of doing business that has always distinguished us.
 
The maximum expression of energy savings and technology at Wega is actually the Wega Concept, the professional coffee machine featuring significantly reduced energy consumption, no less that 47% during stand by and 30% in the operational phase.
 
Wega also stands out for our customer service and sales follow up, as well as assistance in technical training and updating through technical instructional courses at our own headquarters or at the offices of our distributors and/or clients.
