At the Giro d’Italia with team Cannondale

Scheduled for Sunday, February 10th, in the community of Piani di Pezzè in Alleghe, in the  Civetta ski resort, the most spectacular mid-season party will reaffirm the brand's emphasis on sports and winter events, further strengthening its presence in the Dolomites, where Wega already enjoys significant visibility both in high altitude lodges as well as in selected locations inside the most prestigious ski resorts.The day will be spent in the pursuit of fun, with the BigAirBag, a huge mattress that will catch your fall after you try the thrill of a big air jump on skis or a snowboard.  For Kamikazen Mon Amour, anyone who wants to can try their trampoline skills in costume to give Carnival a shot of adrenaline and an extra thrill.The show will start at 10:00 a.m. with free jump events, followed by a pro team freestyle contest in two rounds featuring special guest starring athletes from Nordica Freeskiers. Starting at 2:00 p.m. the competition will be open to everyone, and between stunts you can refuel at a food stand offering sushi, sake and sashimi. From 4:00 p.m. on  the Kamikazen Mon Amour event will entertain the crowd with  a live version of rockabilly swing by Rock’n Roll Kamikazes followed by music by DJ Bubble.

Thanks to this deal Wega coffee machines will be an “official product” for the event and will be located in various locations: the VIP restaurant at the Centro del Fondo Cross Country Skiing Centre, the Chalet Italia, the Sporting Center in Predazzo and the public marquis at the Centro del Fondo Cross Country Centre and the Ski Jump Stadium.

In fact, for the occasion Wega will set up 10 “Coffee Islands”, enlisting its top model into service: the elegant and innovative Wegaconcept, an energy saving espresso coffee machine that can detect the activities of its users and automatically engage the work or stand by functions, allowing for certified energy savings of 47.6% in standby mode and 30% in operational mode. The machines will be personalised with striking graphics to commemorate the Championship Rainbow Series, featuring the 2013 Fiemme Trentino logo.
