Coffee in sport

Moderate coffee consumption seems to benefit athletic performance. Caffeine decreases the perception of fatigue and pain. Therefore, it indirectly improves physical resistance and mental concentration. In fact, it has been demonstrated that caffeine can free fatty acids from adipocytes and increase the production of glucose, which is transformed into pure energy during physical effort.
